Goal
To launch a new National Service (NS) Gallery, a permanent exhibition commissioned by Singapore’s Ministry of Defence, for visitors to experience and understand the purpose of NS through its history and through the different stories of NS servicemen.
Solution
We developed the multimedia content and designed the interactive experience of the gallery, allowing visitors to be immersed in the exhibition and feel the camaraderie of the NS servicemen. The interactive experience includes videos, photo booths, and NS experience stories.

Intuitive Experience with Interactive Design
Keeping in mind the theme and key messages of the gallery, we designed and developed the user interface and user experience to deliver an intuitive experience for the visitors.
Engaging Content
With the vast amount of content on NS history and development, we planned and strategized how best to display the content to engage visitors. These included documentary videos, profile videos, informative slideshows, and an interactive encyclopedia.
Live Update Experience
We proposed interactive installations that give visitors a live update experience. Visitors can pledge their support and take photos at the photo booth which are updated live on the big screen, strengthening their sense of participation. As the visitors browse through the stories of the servicemen, they can also “like” the NS stories and see the likes in real time on the central screen.
